She Said, She Said

Now that the Baby Boomers are becoming grandparents we are redefining what that means to our generation.

My Grandmother wore roll down stockings and a girdle. She made the most incredible cherry pies in the world and smoked like a chimney. She loved me more than anything and I credit her with a lot of my spunk and energy.

I don't wear stockings unless necessary. My girdle is sometimes a pair of Spanx and I have never attempted to bake a cherry pie or any other pie for that matter. I do love my Grandaughter Margaret passionately and hope to introduce her to all sorts of wonderful adventures. I may even learn to bake cookies.
